A two-semi collision on Internet 76 Monday night resulted in a fire and minor injuries, according to the Colorado State Patrol. The crash occurred at around midnight Feb. 7 at mile marker 118 on eastbound I-76 after the driver of a 2019 Volvo, 53-year-old Kirsten Chavez-Menting of Lakewood, fell asleep at the wheel, according to the CSP report. Menting's vehicle began weaving between the two lanes and collided with the left rear of the trailer on the second semi, a 2023 Freightliner driven by Mahammad Yousefzai, 27, of Thornton.
