A participate launches her water lantern in Prospect Lake Saturday night, May 20, 2023, as part of the Water Lantern Festival in Colorado Springs' Memorial Park. The festival will come to the Fort Collins area in June and the Denver area in July. Boardwalk Park in Windsor will host the event June 17 and Carpenter Park in Thornton will host it July 15.
